About
Most fitness apps assume you already know what you're doing. They hand you a spreadsheet and a calorie target and leave you to it. Stacking Plates starts from the opposite assumption.
Who it's for
People who want to get stronger and eat better but have bounced off the complexity of fitness advice — and who'd rather feel encouraged than audited.
Consistency over perfection
Every workout and every meal you log becomes a plate on your stack. The stack is the point: it rewards showing up repeatedly rather than hitting an exact number on any given day.
How it's built
React Native and Expo on iOS, with a TypeScript API backed by Supabase. Meal photos are analyzed by an AI vision model to estimate calories and macros — estimates, not measurements, and the app is explicit about that.
A note on tracking
Calorie and macro tracking isn't right for everyone. If you have a history of disordered eating, please talk to a doctor or therapist before using the nutrition features. The Terms of Service covers this in more detail.
